Rotary Club in Montgomery to Participate in First Service Project
A small group of residents has been working to bring a Rotary Club to Montgomery over the last several months. The group meets regularly on Thursday mornings from 7:00 to 8:00am at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 North River Street, Montgomery. The group is working its way through the chartering process and expects to be an official club in just a matter of months.
On Saturday May 16th, the group will join the Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club as they pack meals for the Feed My Starving Children organization in Aurora. Everyone is welcome to participate, but must be registered. If you would like to join us, please contact Mera Johnson at 630-800-9980 or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information. Due to this service project, there will be no meeting held on Thursday, May 14th.
In addition, the group will hold its first evening meeting in lieu of a morning meeting on Thursday, May 28th from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to network at the evening gathering. Spouses or significant others, along with families, are welcome to attend. This event will be held at the Montgomery Village Hall. Please note this event replaces the morning meeting on Thursday, May 28th.
