Montgomery Rotary Club Welcomes New Members
The Montgomery Rotary Club welcomed two new members in October. At their first regular meeting, Jessica Boettner was inducted to membership. Boettner works for Thrivent Services, a not-for-profit offering financial services. She resides in Montgomery with her husband, Brian and their daughter.
At the second regular meeting, Aaron Kramer was inducted to membership. Kramer works in finanical advising and intends to open an Edward Jones office in Montgomery in the near future. Kramer resides in Oswego with his wife Tiffany and their son.
The Montgomery Rotary Club meets on the first and third Thursday mornings from 7:00 to 8:00am. Morning meetings are held at the new Riverview Diner located at the corner of River and Montgomery Roads in Montgomery. In addition, the group also meets for an evening social & networking hour on the fourth Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30pm. The evening meeting is held at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 North River Street, Montgomery.
Rotary International is a service organization started in Chicago in 1905 that continues today with approximately 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide. Rotary values service above self. It is a professional, ethical, diverse organization that allows members to make a difference in their own communities and as well as the world. It transcends race, religion, and culture by uniting its members through service.
